Topic : Is every zoo good?
Nowadays, zoo are a popular house of animals. Thus people can see many kinds of animals at zoo. However zoo are more harmful than good for animals. And this harmful zoo spread in the world. There are some causes to this such as bad environment for animals, small enclosure and the price advance of entry costs at zoos.

One of the reasons for the bad effects of zoos is a loss of real conservation. Today animals are endangering since their habitats are shrinking because of pollution, less of food and destruction of the ecosystem. Thus many kinds of animals were sent to zoos because of people who argued that we need to to save endangered animals. However the environment of zoo is not suitable for animals and not the same as their environment. Because many animals in the zoos are separated from their families and friends in and they live in new group which are made by raisers who treat animals. These unnatural social groups sometimes lead to in fightings leading to injury and lonelyness. Also the creatures are always fed by feeders therefore their natural hunting instincts decrease and they become stout and idle.

Another reason for bad zoo is small enclosure. Many zoos are operated by private organizations not government and these private zoos mainly operate for money. Therefore they work to make money from the animals. Thus they always open their zoos and welcome the visitors who visit to look at the animals or for entertainment such as dolphin shows. Furthermore, they confine their animals to small enclosures to make visitors feel like they are really close to the animals. They might also make the show stage big and make the animals’ shelter small. As a result of these, the animals suffer greatly in the zoos with severe physical and behavioural problems, especially for the big animals, such as high levels of stress and boredom. This high level of stress and boredom of the animals can lead to illness.

Finally increases in the entrance fee at zoos is another reason for zoos to be considered badly. Entry costs at zoo are increasing every year and people can experience every year in the zoos since it is expensive to feed and house the animals. Moreover numerous zoos are constructed in suburban areas therefore the land prices are high, so the entry costs are increasing. Also today people want to see more unique animals at zoo because they have seen ordinary animals like elephants, monkeys, rabbits, giraffes, lions. So the presidents of zoos bring peculiar animals at high price to make a lot of visitors visit their zoos. Furthermore, they may not feed their animals to decrease the entrance fee in order to compete with other zoos.

To sum up, although there are many zoos in the world, not all of these zoos do not always have good aspects of observation and conservation. Some zoos are bad because of a loss of real conservation, a small enclosure for animals and increasing entrance fees. Hence the animals feel lonesome and get stressed. If people manage zoos for purpose of conservation of animals, the bad zoos will disappear in the world.
